incidental thereto.
The Doctor interviered the honds of several of those schools and says
that nono of thom had heard of any such condition in the indugtry althowgh a
great amount of similar worl is done in Switzerland. Dr. did
not malce any direct investigation in the plente which used such material and
does not whether the material uned in Germany and Switzorland contained
the same ingradients as those used by the United States Redium Corporation.
He hnd surzested and recommended that tests be made by applying the
material which the Radium Corporation uses to various linds of animals to see
if any similar effect is produced. This was also sugrested by Dr. 011men
Thompson, who promised to have such tests made when I intervierod him with
Mr.
MeGlynn and Mr. Roeder. I did not tell Dr. that this was
being done.
The Doctor was very cordial and agpeared to be very willing to do
anything which mäght help to arrive at a solution of the question at issue.
Ho is interested to Imon just what ingredients are used and the exact propor-
tions of each in the luminous material, and what was the or binder with
which the powder is mized before applying it. He asiced me 11 the material
used is always the same and I told him that I understood that it was and I
told him that there was nothing in the pouder expept the small quantity of
radium and sine sulphide.
