July 2, 1925. Dr. Herbert N. McCoy, 1023 Hyde Park Boulevard, Chicago, Ill. Dear Dr. McCoy: I am exceedingly obliged to you for your letter of June 28, also a letter of the 22nd. The case will probably not come up until October or November, and it might be better to review the subject shortly before the evidence is required because those in charge of the legal end of the matter will want to familiarize themselves pretty well and it seems best to do this at a time when it will be fresh in their minds during the trial. Mr. Freeland stopped here a few days ago, but unfortunately I was out of town and missed him. I have been hoping that he would call again before leaving. I do not know where to reach him by phone or mail in New York. I should like very much to have a talk with him. I am certainly very much disappointed in Viol but if he will not listen to reason from you, I do not suppose he would from any one. Will write you from time to time to keep you informed in regard to conditions here. Cordially, President. ARoeder-HM
