COPY COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY College of Physicians and Surgeons 437 West 59th Street, New York Department of Physiology July 29, 1925. Mr. A. Roeder, Pres., U. S. Radium Corporation, New York City, N.Y. Dear Mr. Roeder: I am very much interested in your statement concerning the letter from the Ingersoll Watch Company, Ltd., London. Do you suppose you could get Mr. Daniells of that Company to have some red and white blood counts made on the girls in his employ who have been working with luminous material for two years or longer. I should also like to have some differential counts made too. We can do the differential counts in this country if he will have the blood smears made for us, The red and white counts would have to be made there. I should like to have the following data to go with the slides; The length of time that the girl has work with the material. If they have had any extractions and if so was there any trouble in the healing of the gums. Have they ever had any broken limbs and if so did the fracture heal quickly ? I trust that you can arrange to have this information gotten for me. Yours truly (Signed) Frederick B. Flinn
