September 18, 1925 INFORMATION FOR DR. FLYNN MR. ROEDER REOFIVEL SEP 21 1925 1. We have had approximately 375 employe engaged in dial painting. a 2. The maximum amount of material used per day based on an operator painting clock dials of the largest size which required the greatest amount of material, STATES would be 10 grams. An average amount used would BONP. be aporoximately 6 grams. B. The radium content of grade G material is 2.66 mgs. per 100 grans. 4. The number of persons engaged at one time was variable. We have had anywheres from a dozen to over 200. 5. The application operated thruout the year more or less. Usually more work was done during the fall of the year. 6. Our operators changed often. To determine en average time would be difficult without considerable time being spent on all the payrolls and checking each employee. An svorage might be from one to two years, altho the most steady workers might be four to five years. 7. We had only two actually reported cases of necrosis. One, Miss Carlough, was in our employ when taken ill. The other, Mres Kuser, or Miss Vincent as she was known when with us, had been out of our employ four years whon har trouble was reported to us. 8. No. 9.
