11/19/25 Mr. Barker. Dear Mr. Barker: While not competent to judge expertly, I am much impressed with your paper that was enclosed with memorandum of November 4 and is being returned herewith, as being an exceptionally able piece of work and one of outstanding scientific value. Consequently I am in complete accord with your suggestion of separate publication at the proper time. In the meanwhile I see no objection to giving Dr. Reitter a copy of the one page tabulation which you have prepared. It seems to me, however, that it would be best for you to take in return from Dr. Reitter an undertaking that he will not release any material received from you for publication without your consent. This in substance is his position as he explained it to me so that he will not object to the limitation. Yours truly, - A. Roeder - AR/HM Enclosures.
