U.S.A.\nstate\nDear Mr Roeder:-\nThanks for your letter of Dec.2lst.\nIt does not seem to\nme that Dr Flinn's report (which you expect in a few weeks) should have\nany bearing on your failure to either comply with our request to send us\na copy of a certain journal or else when replying to tell usthat you\nrefuse to do so, in which event we probably would have made an endeavour\nto secure a copy of that journal through some other source.\nIn other words, a.s I intimated in our letter of Dec.8th,\nyour previous letter was a reply but not an answer to my previous letter.\nYou did not cover all the points in my previous letter so carefully and\ncompletely as we endeavour to comply with your request that our staff of\noperators should be examined, etc.\nWe should be glad to have a copy of Dr Flinn's report when it\nis ready, and we can patiently wait until it is ready, and we do not ask\nyou to call upon Dr Flinn to write us on the subject in a preliminary way,\nbut in the meantime we would be glad if you would go back to our original\nletter and let US have the proper answer to the points which were ignored.\nWe have felt that even if the statements in your American\npublications have been so wild and exaggerated as to be ridiculous that\nthere have been points which you might, and we think should have written\nus about and given us advice regarding, such as the possible danger to the\nhealth of our employees resulting from the pernicious habit of tipping\ntheir brushes in the ir mouths.\nEven if the statements in the Press are ridiculous, the\narticles published in the Medical Journel which I referred to previously\ncertainly made a very deep impression on Dr Bridge of the H.M.Home Office.\nWATERBURY CLOCK co.\nWHERE INGERSOLL\nFACTORIES\nWATCHES & WATERBURY\nWATERBURY.
