PERSONAL
Dear Sir:-
We noted the double page spread in the Hearst newspapers
Sunday on the subject of radium painting. There has been
nothing further developed by investigation and the Hearst
article was a codification of the old scare. I suppose they
are masters of catching the public interest and the article
you referred to was surely a masterpiece.
I am very sorry that there has been no progress made
of an authoritative nature, except that Dr. Flinn is getting
his data ready for publication within the very near future.
There is certainly satisfaction in the fact that the
scientific investigations have not confirmed the rumour. If
I get any additional data I will give it to you immediately.
