March 4th, 1926. Mr. R. E. Miller, Vice-President, Hamilton Watch Company, Lancaster, Pa. PERSONAL Dear Sir:- We noted the double page spread in the Hearst newspapers Sunday on the subject of radium painting. There has been nothing further developed by investigation and the Hearst article was a codification of the old scare. I suppose they are masters of catching the public interest and the article you referred to was surely a masterpiece. I am very sorry that there has been no progress made of an authoritative nature, except that Dr. Flinn is getting his data ready for publication within the very near future. There is certainly satisfaction in the fact that the scientific investigations have not confirmed the rumour. If I get any additional data I will give it to you immediately. Very truly yours, General Sales Manager. JMStrong-MG.
