March 5th, 1926. Radium Products, Incorporated, 2171 W. Washington Blvd. Los Angeles, California. Gentlemen:- Attention - Mr. H. S. Bryan, Vice-President. We have your letter of March 2nd, with clipping enclosed. This article appeared in all the Hearst papers and bringsthe far reaching effects of such publicity. As far as combating such articles in the press, it is rather generally conceded that such a method is unfavorable. It merely keeps the argument going in the public mind. We understand Dr. Flinn's report is practically completed and will be ready for publication shortly. This report will embody conclusions from a painstaking and impartial investigation. We will advise you as soon as the report is ready. There have been no further developments with respect to the damage suits mentioned in your letter. The writer has personally talked with several physicians who have given radium internally for many years and none of them are inclined to give credence to current rumors. Very truly yours, General Sales Manager. JMStrong-MO.
