March 17, 1926. Dr. Frederick B. Flinn, c/o Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, 437 West 59th St., New York City. Dear Dr. Flinn: I vill present to the Insurance Company immediately your statement of the 16th covering disbursements in the Radium investigation, and ask then to give it prompt attention. The Insurance Companies do not move very rapidly, so if you do not hear from them within a week, will you let me lonow because in that event I would want to send you our check for the amount and adjust with the Insurance Company later. My vocabulary is inadequate to express the appreciation that we all feel for the worle that you have done, and I would not be at all satisfied to let the matter rest with refunding your expenses. An appropriation must be made to make it possible for you to contime the work in the way that you would like to carry it one I have already spoken to Mr. Breen of the Rndium Dial Company and rather feel that he will join with us to provide funds for the work. But at any rate, I am sure that you can count on our directors to proceed any way. I will look you up in a few days. Yours truly, President.
