Dr. Frederick B. Flinn,
c/o Columbia University,
College of Physicians and Surgeons,
437 West 59th Street,
New York City.
Dear Dr. Flinn:
I am sending you enclosed a check
for $1,653.00 because it looks as though the Insurance Company
would take more time to clean up this transaction than I think
they ought to. I think perhaps it would be better if I said
nothing to the Insurance Company about this transaction, but let
them go right shead and send you another check for the same amount
which you could turn back to us. This will probably speed
things up with the company since I have explained the situation to
them.
The suits are in process of settlement
unless some new development takes place ought to be off the board
within a week or SO. The publication of your paper could then
follow without 1t appearing to be a discussion of these cases in the
medical press.
However, it is not for this reason that I
have not been in touch with you sooner, but merely that I have been
umisually busy. I am looking forward to getting together with you
for a discussion very soon now.
Cordially,
President.
ARoeder-III
Enclosure.
