HUGH MACKAY, M.D., C.M. RESIDENCE: B 324 TELEPHONES DERMATOLOGY-RADIUM THERAPY OFFICE: A 1637 OFFICE HOURS: - 2 - 11 TO 12.30 A.M. 3 TO 6 P.M. RESIDENCE: 76 CORNISH AVE. OFFICE: 215 MCINTYRE BLOCK WINNIPEG, 192 In the same Journal, December 5th, 1925, Martland states that deleterious effects may follow the intravenous in- jection of radium. I wrote himself, Conlon and Kuef, asking what authority they had for this statement but so far have had no reply. If Sixbey's statement is correct, please give approximately the percentage of radium in the luminous paint in use in your factory. It will be gratifying if the view of Hoffman and Cameron can be established and it can be demonstrated that mesothorium and not radium was at fault. I am going slow on intravenous work myself until this point is cleared up. Yours truly,
