Dr. William L. Clark,
2215 Walnut St.,
Philadelphia,
Pa.
Dear Dr. Clark:
I met Dr. Frederick B. Flinn of Columbia on the train
this morning and he toldme that he had had a letter from you some
time back commenting on bone necrosis.
Dr. Flinn is making
a very extensive investigation of the so-called "Radium jaw necrosis."
He referred to some X- Ray pictures that you had made following
through necrosis in cases that had come from heavy radiation,
and he suggested that I write you to ask whether you would be willing
to lend him a set of these pictures.
He wants to compare them
with those taken of infectious conditions and others.
Dr. Flinn is preparing a report on his exhaustive
investigation, and I am sure it will interest you.
I will send you
a copy when I receive one.
It has been very disappointing that I have not had a chance
to run over to Philadelphia as I have been looking forward to seeing
you.
What are your plans for the Summer 1
Are you going back
to the bungalow ?
Best regards to you all.
Yours truly,
ARoeder-HM
