B29 10 M-10-8-24 SETH THOMAS CLOCK Co. THOMASTON, CONN. ESTABLISHED 1813 TRADE S.O. MARK SALES OFFICE: 19-25 WEST 44TH STREET NEW YORK CITY THOMASTON, CONN. July 22, 1926 U. S. Radium Corporation, 30 Church St., New York City. Dear Sirs: Answering your letter of July 21st regarding contributing to a fund for the continuation of Dr. Flinn's work, we are not large users of luminous material. All of our work here is done by one girl, and we do not have any difficulty in preventing her from licking the brushes which she uses, as might be the case if we had a number of girls employed in this work. Under these conditions, we are not in favor of contributing towards the work you suggest, as we cannot see that we would have any benefit from it. Very truly yours, RECEIVED JUL 23 1926 SETH THOMAS CLOCK CO. Masou T.adams Vice-President. MTA/H United States Radium Corporation
