Dr. Frederick B. Flinn,
Columbia University, College of Physicians
& Surgeons,
437 West 59th St., New York City.
Dear Dr. Flinn:
We have your letter of September 16th addressed
to Mr. Roeder.
The question of raising a sum for you to continue
your research work, has not been given up by us. There has been
some delay, however, on account of the Radium Chemical Company's
request that they have a conference with us in New York on the
matter before finally deciding whether or not they will contribute.
We will press this matter and see if we can not get an answer at
an early date.
If agreeable to you I should be glad to have you
join me for lunch Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, at which time
we can discuss this matter more fully. Kindly let me Jmow which
day will suit you best if you are available.
Yours very truly,
President.
