Cohmbia University RECEIVED College of Physicians and Surgeons APR 19 1927 EPIDEMIOLOGY 437 WEST 59TH STREET, NEW YORK INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE PUBLIC HEALTH ADMINISTRATION INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC HEALTH SANITARY SCIENCE and April I8 1927 Mr. Lee United States Radium Corp. PARTIM LUMINOD New York City, N.Y. Dear Mr. Lee; I want to thank you for your kindness in sending the check. When I return from my trip to Waterbury I will give you a ring and let you know how things stand there. It is my feeling that we will hear of the second girl's death within the next few months as, if my information is correct, she is grddually losing her fight. I am wondering if our friends in Newark in- cluding Dr. Hoffman not waiting for her death to start their fight. You know he was up there and examined the girl. Of course if Mr Granger is correct it is a opmpensation case and will be handled by the Commissioner. In that case it will not be so bad. I wish we had more information as to mesothorium and the amount present in the bodies. Sincerely yours Fridench B.Phin Frederick B. Flinn
