CABLE ADDRESS: UNDARK NEW YORK MINES. COLORADO UNDARK PLANTS AND LABORATORIES REG.U.S.PAT.OFF. ORANGE,N.J. RADIUM LUMINOUS MATERIAL UNITED STATES RADIUM CORPORATION 30 CHURCH street, NEW YORK NOTE OUR NEW ADDRESS 535 PEARL STREET, NEW YORK June 21st, 1927 American Mutual Liability Insurance Company, 969 Broad Street, Newark, N.J. Gentlemen: We are handing you herewith copy of Summons and Complaint of an action instituted in the New Jersey Supreme Court by Katherine Schaub, against this corporation. This paper was served on our Agents, The Corporation Trust Company of New Jersey, on June 16th, but did not reach U.S until yesterday. You will please note that there is a period of 20 days time in which to file answer. According to our records the Aetna Life Insurance Company carried our compensation insurance previous to August 20,1920, at which time our first policy with you began. Since the date of employment by the complainant is divided between the two companies, with the longer period of time covered by the Aetna policy we have sent the original Summons and Complaint to the Aetna, and a copy to you. We believe that there are some discrepancies as to the dates of employment claimed in the complaint - this matter will be checked at once and a correct statement furnished you. We offer you the services of our Attorneys, Lindabury, Depue & Faulks of Newark, in conjunction with your attorneys for the defence. We also assure you of our fullest cooperation in accumulating data, pre- paring of the defence, etc. CBLee:RH
