July 8,1927. New Amsterdam Casualty Company, 60 John St., N Y.C. Att'n Mr. George W. Pesinger Gentlemen: Te hand you herewith Summons and Complaint in an action instituted in the New Jersey Supreme Court by Albina Larice and James A. Larice against this corporation for alleged injuries sustained while employed at our plant located in New Jersey. We do not recognize the complainents in this action and suggest that your attorneys ascertain from Potter and Berry the maiden name of Mrs. Larice. According to the allegations her total period of employment was during the period of time which we carried insurance with you. The Summons and Complaint, as you will notice, was served on our Agents the Corporation Trust Company of New Jersey, at 3:55 P.M. July 5,1927. In accordance with our statement to you, you may count on OUR fullest cooperation both from a technical standpoint and the assistance of our attorneys in the defence of this action. Just as soon as you have ascertained the correct name of the complainant we will check our employ- ment records for a verification of the dates of employment claimed. Very truly yours, President.
