Gentlemen:-
We acknowledge receipt of summons and
complaint in action brought against you in the
Supreme Court, State of New Jersey by Grace Fryer
for damages resulting from certain illness from which
she claims to have suffered since June 1922.
We understand the suit is being defended
by the insurance carrier which succeeded us and that
the legal papers were sent merely in compliance with
the provisions of the Compensation policy issued you.
Edwards & Smith, attorneys at law, #1
Exchange Place, Jersey City, N.J., will cooperate with
you during this litigation, it being understood that
our rights and defenses under said policy remain
unprejudiced in accordance with the communication
heretofore sent you.
