Dr. Frederick B. Flinn,
Gembrills,
Maryland.
Dear Doctor Flinn:
We have been served with a bill in equity in the case of
Orace Fryer versus this corporation, and a very important question from the
standpoint of the defence is - whether her case was diamosed as Radium
Poisoning previous to July 1925. Our impression is that in talking with
you, you indicated that Dr. McCaffery considered this a case of radium
poisoning, and according to Dr. Drinicer's report Dr. MeCaffery started to
treat Miss Fryer some time in the early part of 1924.
llow we wonder if you could find out from Dr. McCaffery
what diagnosis he gave at the above mentioned time. If you can obtain this
information we would much appreciate your giving it to us as soon as possible
since we have but twenty (20) days in which to file our answer.
We hate like the dickens to put you to all this trouble
during vacation but you can rest assured that the matter is important, and
that anything you can do will be more than appreciated.
With best regards, I am
Very truly yours,
President.
