October 4, 1927. E.A.M. -2- Te discussed informally the matter of taking de- positions in Boston. I do not know whether I shall at- tend or not. I told him, however, that if I were going to Boston, the second week in November would suit me better than any other date and suggested that he get in touch with you and learn whother or not this time would suit you. I think that Mr. Smith should be communicated with to learn whether he intends to go so that if he does a date might be selected which would suit his convonience. Mr. Berry also told me that he intended to dis- inter the body of the Maggia girl on Saturday, the 8th inst. If you have not already arranged to have some pathologist present I think it would be well to make these arrangements. If a compotent man could be selected to accompany Dr. Flinn I think this would be advisable. Yours vory truly, JS/BAS
