Lee Dear Sir: This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter of November 15, in which you request the return of the affidavits which you submitted to this Board in June 1926. This matter has never been closed. As our attorney advised us that this Board had no power in the matter, we felt that it should be taken up by the State organization, and the affidavits were given to the secretary of that organization, requesting that it be brought before the Board of Trustees. To date they have not been returned to me, but a meeting of that body will be held on Friday evening of this week, and I will attend and request that the matter be closed and the affidavits returned to me in order that I may forward them to your Very t uly yours, 6 John C.
