MEMORANDUM OF CONFERENCE HELD AT THE RESIDENCE OF
MR. RORDER ON NOVEMBER 30, 1927.
Present: Mr. Roeder, Mr. Veidt, Mr. Lee, Mr.
Barker and Mr. Stryker.
It was understood that Mr. Lee would communicate
with the physicians who made the examinations of the em-
ployees of the Radium Corporation at the Life Extension
Institute and that he would secure, if possible, copies of
the reports of such examinations and arrange for the at-
tendance of the physicians at the hearing if that should
be considered advisable after the reports have been ex-
amined.
Mr. Lee will get for Mr. Stryker the history of
the decrease in the number of employees in the Application
Department, i.e., at what time, the number the defendant
had and the various deductions which occurred until 1925.
Mr. Barker will communicate with Dr. Cameron of
the Standard Chemical Company with the view to securing
his testimony at the Chancery hearing which is set for
January 12th.
He will ask him particularly with regard
to the views which he held in 1924 and prior concerning
the hazard of necrosis in defendant's paint shop.
Mr. Barker will also get in touch with Dr. Herbert
M. McCoy, Dr. S.C. Lind and Dr. Herman Schlundt and perhaps
with Dr. R.B. Moore, although it is my recollection that it
was not intended to procure Dr. Moore.
The purpose of getting in touch with these men is
to secure their attendance at the trial and to learn to
what they can testify with the particular view as to the
grounds which might have led the Radium Corporation to be-
lieve that there was a hazard in its paint shop in 1924 or
earlier.
Mr. Stryker will communicate with Mr. Roach and
Mr. McBride with the idea of procuring Dr. Cyzmatolski to
testify for the company.
