RECEIVED DEC 8 1927 FREDERIC J. FAULKS LINDABURY, DEPUE & FAULKS J. EDWARD ASHMEAD JOSIAH STRYKER JOHN W. BISHOP, JR PRUDENTIAL BUILDING TELEPHONE WALTER D. BARKER MULBERRY 1755 JAMES E. M. TAMS 763 BROAD street, newark, N.J. BURTIS S. HORNER December 7, 1927. RADIOM MATERI C. B. Lee, President, United States Radium Corp., 535 Pearl St., New York City. Dear Mr. Lee, Upon rereading the memorandum of conference which I sent you yesterday, I am impressed that the memorandum does not make it quite clear that final arrangements for the attendance of the expert witnesses are not to be made with them until we secure the approval of the Insurance Companies so that we will be in a position to have the Insurance Com- panies pay the bill for their services. I think that that was understood at the conference but the memorandum does not make that point quite clear. Yours very truly, JS/EAS
