New York
My dear Barker:
It has baken considerable maneuvering on my part to
arrange my schedule here 30 as to be with you in Tew York City by the
week beginning April 22. You see the American Chomicol Bociety meets
in Stl Louis the waek berinning April 16 and I expect to be down there
for two days at least. I shall see both Dr. Moore and Dr. Lind. The
Secretary of our local section hos invited Dr. Moore to opme to Colum-
bia on Friday, April 80 to suenti to our section and I had already in-
vited Dr. and Mrs. Moore to be our house caests during their visit to
Columbia. In order for mas to be with you on the morning of April 22,
it will be nedessary to leave Columbda at four o'clock on Friday
and I think that my rlans now are completa to this end.
In your letter you did nos say whet 101 you wished
to have Dr. Moore present at the tests on Sunday as well as mysolf.
In case he is to be there too, it means that he will not come to Co-
lumbia on the 20.
I noticed that the Amorican Aloctro-Chemical
Society will moet in Bridgeport on April 36, 7, 8. I hope that Dr.
Lind, Dr. Moore, and myself will get an opportunity to run over to
Bridgeport for a day at least and I hope that you will go with us.
In case any changes como up in your program for the
week of April 22, please advise by wire 30 that we, may make our plans
at this end promptly
With very kind regards, I remain
Sincerely yours,
HS
