UNITED STATES RADIUM CORPORATION - THE LUMINITE CORPORATION V. EDNA HUSSMAN Report of Elizabeth C. Lewis: April 25, 1928. F. J. Lewis Manufacturing Co., Doremus Avenue, Newark, N. J. At the office of the above factory, interviewed a Miss McHaffey. Said the factory was formerly owned and operat- ed by Butterworth & Judson. Soon after the World's War they went into bankruptcy and were thrown into the hands of receivers. Factory and equipment was sold outright at auction and purchased by a western concern, the F. J. Lewie Manufacturing Company. They have no records of Butterworth & Judson on file at their plant. Where I would be able to obtain same she could not say. Referred me to a firm of lawyers in New York, Rushmore, Bisbee & Stearns, attorneys who represented Butterworth & Judson in receivership and would be in position to state where records are located.
