LUMINITE CORPORATION V. EDNA HUSSMAN
Report of Elizabeth C. Lowis:
April 27, 1928.
Arthur Lee,
220 Montague Place,
South Orange, N. J.
After much difficulty located Itrs. Lee residing at
the above address, in the exclusive section of South Orange.
In my interview with her found her to be a young
woman of pleasing personality.
Said she formerly rosided for one year in an apart-
mont at 448 Roseville Avenue, Newark, moving thore in the Spring
of 1926. In the house lived a Mrs. Edna Hussman, who is one of
the women that is gaining much publicity in the daily newspapers
in reference to radium cases, claiming she is permanently dis-
abled as a result of radium poisoning.
Mrs. Lee was very reticent in disclosing any in-
formation in regards to Hussman's physical condition and
activities while living in the house with her, saying she did
not want to be involved in any court proceedings. She noticed
in last night's nows a picture of lrs. Hussman and a very lengthy
article of her illness. Laughed and said "If I was not aware of
this court case that is now being tried I may have expressed my
self very broadly as to what I think and know of Hussman
and hor family. Personally, I think the entire family could
stand a thorough investigation. They are the most horrible and
the most terrible people I ever came in contact with. Whey they
moved from Roseville Avenue they stole everything from the apart-
ment that could be removed"
Said Dr. Lee never treated or prescribed at any
time for lirs. Hussman and knows nothing whatsoever about her
case.
