Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of Missouri,
Columbia, No.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
We are enclosing herewith a check for $606.48,
$500.00 of which is in payment for the services rendered us dur-
ing the week of April 22nd, and $106.48 to cover the balance of the
expense account due you.
The payment for your services is in line with what
has been charged us by Doctors Moore and Lind, and we wish that
you would render U.S a formal bill for these services, dated May 12th,
or prior.
We have been somewhat disturbed during the past
few days, due to the fact that there is a bare possibility that we
may have to go to trial on May 23rd, although the present probabil-
ities are that we will be able to hold our ground with regard to
going to trial in September. However, should anything develop which
should force us to trial next week you will probably hear from us.
Assuring you that we very much appreciate the
service you rendered us, and hoping that we may have your assistance
when our trial is resumed, we are
Cordially yours,
Vice President.
