TOUS Gentlemen:- MM This Bureau is contemplating the issuance of instructions covering the handling of radio-active sub- stances used in the construction of luminous dials for instruments, etc. We are particularly interested in the symptoms and pathology of any disease processes which might result from their injudicious handling and the most satisfactory method of avoiding the developement of these symptoms on the part of those handling them. If your files contain information on these ques- tions, or if you can refer us to literature bearing on these subjects, your early reply will be greatly appreciated. Very sincerely yours, P End E. R.
