Dr. Herman Schlundt,
Room 110 New Chemistry Bldg.,
University of Missouri,
Columbia, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
Inasmuch as Dr. Flinn and I are
both planning our vacations during the first part of
August, we would be glad to hear from you definitely
as to whether you expect to come on to New York about
August 20th, for the suggested experiments. Also
any preliminary work which can be done should be arranged
at this time so that the experimental phase of the work
may be talcon up inmediately upon your arrival.
I expect to start on my vacation about
the 28th, of this month, and will be back about the
20th of August, in the event that you will be here at
that time. Dr. Flinn expects to be away during the
first part of Augast, and his plans will somewhat
depend upon your decision to come on for the latter
part of the sumer.
Cordially yours,
Vice President.
