My dear Mr. Barker:
Thank you very much for your letter of August 15th
on the above subject. I believe that the information you
have given me is sufficient for my purposes.
I am very glad to have a copy of the precautional
measures you have advised being taken in the Navy when
radioactive luminous compounds are used.
In Mr. Lee's letter of August 7th. I note that you
supply the Frankford Arsenal with this type of material.
SECENED
I would suggest that you write M. W. Ireland, Surgeon General
of the United States Army, making similar suggestions to
him relative to the handling of this compound in the opera-
tions at that point.
