August 28th,1928. Elizabeth B. Bricker, M.D., Chief Sanitation and Hygiene Section, Department of Labor and Industry, Harrisburg, Pa. Re: Plants using radio-active Dear Dr. Bricker: luminous compounds In regard to your request of August 23rd, that we write M. W. Ireland, Surgeon General of the U.S. Army, giving suggestions relative to the use of our Undark, we are glad to advise that copy of these recommendations were sent some time ago to Lt. Colonel,J. F. Siler, of the Medical Corps, connected with the Army Department, and it is my understanding that Lt. Col. Siler expected to forward these instructions to such Departments as came under his supervision. We, therefore, assume that a copy of these recommendations have probably reached the Frankford Arsenal by this time. Very truly yours, Vice President. HHBarker:RH
