Dear Dr. Schlundt:
I am sending you two (2) specimens of sinc
for use in testing the sensitiveness of detecting small quantities
of radon by means of a zinc sulphide screen.
I would suggest that you examine both of these
specimen carefully for any trace of self luminosity, prior to
introducing any radium to derect its presence. You realize
these specimen of necessity have been around a radium laboratory,
and while I feel confident that they do not contain any radio-
active material, still there is always a possibility of contamina-
tion.
