Refuses to Press Charge Against Husband James MacDonlad, 33 years old, of Highland avenue, Orange, went free when arraigned befor Police Judge Edward L. Davis in that city today on a charge of assault. His wife refused to press the charge. MacDonald was arrested last night when his wife, suffering from ra- dium poisoning, said to have been contracted in the employ of the United States Radium Corporation, complained to the police that he had beaten her and their two children and turned on all gas jets in their house. Policemen found him hiding be- hind the furnace in the cellar, they said. Sun 9/19/28 9/19/28
