Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of Missouri,
Room 110 New Chemistry Bldg.,
Columbus, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
Under separate cover I am sending
you one spinthariscope manufactured by the Palmer Radium
Laboratories, and two spinthariscopes without the radium
or zinc sulphide, for use in testing expired air by the
scintillation method.
I em in hopes that you have located some
zine sulphide which is naturally free from any contemination
by radio-active products, and that you will be able to
coat the base of these two devices with this material.
The prepared spinthariscope and one of the
others you may keep for your experiments, returning the
other to us.
Very truly your S,
Vice President.
