November 26th,1928. Dr. F. Failla, c/o Memorial Hospital, 106th St. & Central Park West, N.Y.C. Dear Dr. Failla: The more I consider the results which you and Dr. Schlundt received last week on the 5 girls, the more I believe that we might be able to throw some light on this problem by a critical study of Mrs. Hewes data. I am con- fident that Dr. Schlundt would very much appreciate an oppor- tunity to look over this data, and feel confident that you likewise would find it valuable. The question arises as to the best procedure to follow in order to obtain Mrs. Hewes data, and it occurs to me that about the only channel open would be for Dr. Ewing, as Chairman of the Committee, to request either Mrs. Hewes or Mr. Berry for this data. I am suggesting this for your consideration, and if you believe it has merit you might suggest same to the Committee and get their reaction. Very truly yours, Vice President. HHBarker:RH
