Dear Mr. Lee: J had intended to call you up before J left New York, but have just discovered that J overlooked to doso. As J had men_ tioned among my plans, J called on Dr. Craver, at the Memorial Hospital to obtain possible information on the five cases in charge of the committee. He suggested consulting Dr. Ewing on the subject. We talked it over, and Dr. Ewing said that, while he personally could see no reason why the U.S. Government should not be furnish. ed with a copy of the report, he believed it wiser to obtain the permission from the attorneys on both sides and from Dr. Krumb haar, before promising such action, or giving any information. He offered to write to Dr. Krumbhaar, and J told him that J would get in touch with you, ast did not know your attorney, and also with Potter and Berry. J also told him J did not anti cipate any difficulty from either side. Passing through Newark J called Mr. Berry on the phone, but did not find him in, so just left a message for him, stating
