The broadcasting by the Revigator and the aale of
Radium Water Je.rs to the general public have had a great deal to do
with breaking down the emnity of the general public towards radium
and since the public are in this mood a clear statement in rew
ference to Radium, itself, from you (without mentioning the cone
dition of the girls) I think would be generally accepted and the
physicians would then again be ready to use the soluble radium
and we could then have a chance to regain our position and
standing in the confidence of the physiciense
At the present time Dr. John is treating a number
of physicians and their wives with Radium Chloride and he reports
to me some almost miraculous results, and he further states,
that he will be willing to submit a few case records for publi-
cation in the A. M. A. Journal. One thing I will say for him
is that he has staid with it in spite of the charges and criti
oism, lack of cooperation and severe kidding by his fellow phy-
sicianso
Have had & little inquiry from one or two drug
firms here, who may get in touch with youe We would appre-
ciate it if you refer them back to us, as there are some Jews
here who think we have no business to make a profit and they
don't intend to let us make a profit if there is any way for
them to go around us. One pup the other day took his pencil
and figured out in my presence just how much difference there
was in the price of radium purchased at $70.00 a milligram and
sold at twenty cents a micorgram. Of course his being a Jew
he is trying to scheme some way of beating the price.
