Newark, N. J., May 14.-Five young women spent their early
working years illuminating watch dials and now time runs inexo-
rably against them. They are doomed to die from radium poison-
ing, and while they wait their lawyers fight to stay the statute of
limitations in a suit for one-quarter million dollars for each of the
victims against the United States Radium corporation of East
Orange, N. J.
