Mr. Edwin Smith,
c/o Edwards & Smith,
1 Exchange Place,
Jersey City, N.J.
Dear Mr. Smith:
We are herewith enclosing copy of letter
received from Dr. Lind today.
As I advised you by 'phone Dr $ Moore wired
to the effect that he would be available for the week of
February 17th, and that Dr. Schlundt wired to the effect that
his program was contingent upon Dr. Lind's, in the event
that Dr. Lind would not be available during the week of the
17th, that he would not be available.
Pursuant to your suggestion of this morning
I have today wired both Schlundt and Moore as to whether they
would be available March 19th to 22nd.
You will note in Dr. Lind's letter that he
makes inquiry as to whether we would like him to come on for
a preliminary conference on January 17th. Will you please
advise as to your opinion regarding this, in order that we
may advise Dr. Lind promptly?
Very truly yours,
Vice President.
