Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of Missouri,
Columbia, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
Your wire has been received, and we
shall look for you on Monday of next week.
In case it is convenient, Mrs. Barker and
I shall be pleased to have you come in on Sunday and spend
Sunday night with us.
The program as finally outlined is to
confine Mrs. Hussman and Miss Fryer at the Hotel Marseilles,
and also provide quarters for you and the measurement work,
similar to that which you had on your last trip. Dr. Craver
thought this better than to take the girls to a hospital, for
in such case it would become necessary for them to be under
the direction of the physician in charge, and inasmuch as he
is not a member of the Staff at Fifth Avenue, he did not
deem this procedure desirable. It seems to me that the plan
of doing all the work at the Marseilles will be very satis-
factory from all standpoints.
Anticipating seeing you in the near future,
I am
S incerely yours,
Vice President.
