Dear Mr. Lee: I think you will be interested to know that the Surgeon General has appointed the first committee which is to advise us as to the nature of tests which we should make with regard to the type of worker best fitted for the radium dial industry and for the methods of detection of radium in workrooms. Below are given the names of this committee, and I believe the first meeting will be held on February 25, 1929. Prof. William Duane Prof. Herman Schlundt Prof. S. C.
