February 26, 1929.
Dr. Herman Schlundt,
Dept. of Chemistry &
Chemical Engineering,
University of Missouri,
Columbia, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
I am sending herewith nine samples of
ash as labelled, and believe that this will
cover the remaining samples. In case others come
in later, I will make a separate shipment of them.
In one or two cases when you dissolve
them, I suspect you will find a few small pieces
of porcelain, due to breakage of the evaporating
dishes during the process of ashing. In all cases
this porcelain is from Coor's U. S. ware. I
trust that it will not be a harmful contamination.
I am enclosing a statement for the war k,
which I would appreciate if you will O.K. and send
to Dr. Barker.
We enjoyed your stay in New York very
much, and hope that you will come again in the
not too distant future.
Mrs. Turner joins me in kindest regards
to you and Mrs. Schlundt.
Yours very truly,
W. D. Turner
