UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI COLUMBIA DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY Barker have looked at these quartz fibers and it seems to me that they are too fine. I have had a look at the quartz fibers in the Wulf instrument which we have here in the laboratory and those fibers are .considerably thicker. The quartz fibers we have just received are not visable in ordinary daylight. One must have the direct sunshine on the fibers in order to see the threads at all. With very kind regards, I am Sincerely yours, Herman Schlundt Herman Schlundt HS : RO
