Barker
have looked at these quartz fibers and it seems to me that they are too
fine. I have had a look at the quartz fibers in the Wulf instrument which
we have here in the laboratory and those fibers are .considerably thicker.
The quartz fibers we have just received are not visable in ordinary daylight.
One must have the direct sunshine on the fibers in order to see the threads
at all.
