LLINS & CORBIN COUNSELLORS AT LAW .EMENT K. CORBIN ROBERT J. BAIN EDWARD A. MARKLEY CHARLES W. BROADHURST 1 EXCHANGE PLACE. HOWARD F. MC INTYRE FRANK A. BOEHLER JERSEY CITY, N.J. JAMES B. EMORY PATRICK F. MC DEVITT FRANK P. CLANCY April 9, 1929. APR 10 1929 Metz and Tuck V. U. S. Radium Corp. H. H. Barker, Esq., Vice Pres. U. S. Radium Corp., 535 Pearl Street, New York City. Dear Mr. Barker: Herewith copy of letter from Dr. Flinn from which you will note that he is anxious to see what he can do toward negotiating settlement of the radium cases on the basis of Workmen's Compensation in New Jersey. Personally, I am opposed to having anything to do with Dr. Knef. I would advise most strongly against having Dr. Flinn conduct any negotiations of any kind looking toward settlement. Finally, it seems to me that before the question of settlement is discussed on any basis, we should all have a conference for the purpose of outlining our future conduct. A prompt reply will be appreciated. Yours very truly, EAM: AG C.G. mercey
