Dr. Craver approves but thinks 25 is rather high for a house call.
DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY
CORNELL UNIVERSITY MEDICAL COLLEGE
FIRST AVENUE AND 28TH STREET
Mr. H.H. Barker,
NEW YORK
April 10, 1929.
U.S. Radium Corp.,
535 Pearl Street,
New York City.
APR 1319291
My dear Dr. Barker:
I enclose a series of bills from Dr. Humphries to which I
will give the approval of the Commission. On the whole these charges are
moderate considering the long attentions which Dr. Humphries has given.
He reports that Miss Schaub is still at the Convalescent
Home at Cornwall. She is much improved and able to get about again, although
her deformity is increased.
Mrs. McDonald is in rather bad shape at the present and
if she does not soon improve, she should be admitted to the hospital for a
few weeks where she can be properly cared for.
I saw Dr. Krumbhaar in Chicago April 1st, and he agreed
that we should issue no formal report on our findings. He also agreed to tell
Mr. Berry that we could not approve of any activity on his part which led to
publicity.
Jawarg James Ewing.
