April 13th,1929. Mr. Edwin Smith, c/o Edwards & Smith, 1 Exchange Place, Jersey City, N.J. Mr. E. A. Markley, c/o Collins & Corbin, 1 Exchange Place, Jersey City, N.J. Gentlemen: Referring to our letter of March 19th, and Mr. Markloy's reply of March 20th, relative to payment of fees for experts in the cases of Tuck and Mets: We are advised that the bills of Doctors Stiener and Emboden, as well as those of Dr. Schlundt, for services rendered around Earch 15th, have not been paid as yet, and we feel that in order for us to retsin the good will of these men that it is important these bills be taken care of. In the case of Dr. Schlundt, you will recall that he came at your request and, his trip East involved consider- able expense on his part in addition to his fees for his services, and there is no reason why Dr. Schlundt should be asked to wait for remuneration for "oneys expended as well as charges for professional services. lie trust that you will give this matter your prompt attention. Very truly yours, HHBarker:RH Vice President.
