my clear Howard-
Sunday April 21, 1929
The radium mystery is no more.
The chamber I have been using for the
deter minations was electrodeless. i.e.
electrode had dropped out That ac-
counts for everything. Discovered this
defect this morning i and then shet out
a good long grown.
Fortunately d have not thrown out
a single solution. dn fact we have the
dry residues from all so for examined.
Several more are auaiting boiling off
will begin all over a gain now.
why this fool chamber held vacumen
so perfect by with electrode out, is more
than d can account for but let us
forget about it
