I am glad to know that the Wulfe bifilar electroscope
has arrived in New York. 1 think it will be best for
you to ship it directly to this office in Washington,
as I want to make some preliminary tests with it before
we take it out in the field.
I very much appreciate your kindness in plac-
ing this instrument at our disposal.
