Dear Mr. Hartman:
Thanks for your letter of June 4th,
enclosing clipping from the Philadelphia Record, under
date of June 1st.
Most of the "so called" experts, who
testified at the trial in question, stated that in all
probability the women would be dead by the first of last
September, but I suppose we should be somewhat generous
with our criticism of these distinguished gentlemen when
we realize that guessing has never been reduced to an
exact science.
