InRe: Radium Cases
Messrs. Collins & Corbin,
1 Exchanage Place,
Jersey City, N.J.
Gentlemen:-
At the conference June 12th, it was agreed that Doctors
Imboden and Steinert, examined the X-rays of the claimants, their
fee should be charged as a general expense, and the same decision
also applies to the account of Dr. Schlundt, as was admitted that
the doctors presence in the East was for the purpose of discussing
all the cases.
Three items relate to the case of Canfield and must be
assumed by the New Amsterdam Cas. Co. and Globe Indemnity Co. as follows:
Harry Schirmer
$65.00
Dr. Brothers
25.00
Wm. J. McCarthy
262.00
Of these the New Amsterdam Casualty Co. paid a share of the
last and we therefore enclose draft to your order of $45.00 covering its
50% share of the first two.
Apparently we are liable under the agreement to advance 1/5
of the following account.
Your statement dated May 31st in the matters of Metz & Tuck --
